But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

From living in small towns and big cities of Georgia to West African villages and back, Marie finds herself at home in most any culture. She loves music, art, language, and building relationships with anyone who will take the time to chat. Marie currently lives in Raleigh, NC, and is studying missions and biblical counseling at Southeastern Seminary. She also serves as an intern at her church, equipping Christians to minister among the thousands of West Africans in the area.

EmilyEdwardsLargely influenced by acoustic folk and contemporary Christian, Emily's style of music provides a fun yet intimate time of worship. From Greensburg, Indiana, she loves to laugh a lot, have fun with her family, travel, and sing. She is excited to transfer to Liberty University in the spring to pursue her calling in music ministry and orphan care.

Malawi Project

While first world nations throw away perfectly good prescription containers, medical pharmacies and hospitals in Malawi often find themselves with nothing except torn pieces of paper to wrap medicine for their patients. This is especially prevalent in rural hospitals and village areas where the poorest people live. You can change this!

Have your friends, church and family save their containers when they have completed a prescription, Tylenol, or other medicines in bottles with a child safety lid. Place them in boiling water to remove the label and glue or put boiling water inside the bottle leaving the outside dry. When the label and glue have been removed, pack them up and bring them with you to the sleepover. They will be forwarded to Malawi.
