Description

Celebrate 125 years of missions education and involvement in SBC life with a special missions experience for children and youth and exciting worship and testimonies of God's work throughout the world.  Take a trip down memory lane in an interactive journey through 125 years of WMU.

JoyeSmith1Joye Smith

Joye Smith is preschool ministry consultant and Preschool Resource Team leader for WMU®, SBC. She helps those who work with preschoolers to know the importance of teaching about God's love for all people.  She believes that a missions lifestyle begins from a young age when preschoolers learn to help others.  She has a love for children and the people who teach them.  Joye has serverd as a minister to children and preschoolers, and as a child-care director.  She also served as Child Development Specialist for a United Way agency where she coordinated training for child-care directors and staffs.  

Kinion025Roger Kinion

Roger Kinion has been senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenfield, IN since 2005.  He has a missions heart and has led his church to be a part of strong missions discipleship and service through Mission Friends, GA's, RA's, Acteens, Challengers and Women on Mission.

Panel Discussion

A panel discussion of former and current state WMU Presidents and Executive Directors will include Allison Kinion, Sadie Griffin, Doris Kissel, Helen Futrell, Cheryl Lewis, Jaye Copeland, Margaret Gillaspie, and Mary Fullhart.
