Women (18 and over)


This retreat designed for Indiana women (18 and over) focuses on areas related to the total calling of God for women. Spiritual growth and renewal accompany a strong challenge for women to be radically involved in the mission of God to reach the nations.

Some of the topics this year include: "Marriage Panel Discussion", "Anger & Forgiveness","Conflict", "Contentment & Joy", "What it really means to follow Christ", "Self-Image", "How to Study the Bible", "Mission Mobilization Options", "How to Study the Bible", "Practical Discipleship & Mentorship", "Spiritual Warfare", "Defending Biblical Foundations", "Mission in the Workplace", "Creative ways to make your home a witness", "The church and special needs", "Evangelism", "2 Special Breakoust just for Ministers' Wives", and many other topics to come.

LeighannMcCoyAs a popular speaker, Leighann encourages women across the nation and overseas. She is a conference leader at Lifeway Christian Resources and a frequent guest on radio programs, such as Divine Calling, Bold Living, and This is the Day on Moody Radio. She has also contributed to magazines, including Journey, Parenting Teens, Today's Christian Woman, and Crosswalk.com. Leighann is here today from Thompson Station Church in TN where she serves as the prayer and women's minister.

Worship Led By: Heather Messick

HeatherMessickHeather Messick is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who has recorded two Contemporary Christian solo CD projects called "Wonder" and "Meet Us Here." She is an inspirational speaker and guest vocalist/worship leader at women's gatherings around the country. Heather is a studio vocalist who has recorded for Christian music companies such as Integrity Music and Brentwood Benson Music. She serves with her husband, Mark, at First Baptist North Mobile, in Mobile, AL, where he is the Adult Education Pastor. They have three daughters: Elyssa, Natalie and Victoria.



Ministers' Wives Breakfast: Kathy Litton


Kathy Ferguson Litton lives in Mobile, AL with her husband Ed Litton, Pastor of FBC North Mobile. Both lost former spouses in car accidents. God's grace has navigated her journey in meeting Christ as a child, marrying a young preacher boy, 26 years of adventure with him and three wonderful children. His goodness has given her a new life and love with Ed. Twice a pastor's wife, once a church staff member, now a National Consultant for NAMB for Ministry to Pastor's Wives.

IMB Missionary: Lori McDaniel


Lori is a Global Mission Catalyst at IMB, mobilizing churches and leading women to participate in God's global mission. She, her husband, and their 3 kids lived in Africa as missionaries before returning to plant Grace Point Church in Bentonville, AR. She is passionate about discipling people to untangle their life-story and see how it collides with God's mission of making His glory known to all nations. Namb Missionary: Twyla Jackson

TwylaJackson2Twyla has a love for music and theater. She enjoys reading, cooking, and sewing. She feels called to mentor and disciple young believers in their walk with God. A former GA, Acteen, and BYW member, Twyla implements skills learned during those years in her current ministry. Using her gifts within the church is just the beginning for Twyla. She has many years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Twyla enjoys volunteering and using her spiritual gift of hospitality at local art venues. Twyla graduated from Mississippi University for Women and completed an internship at the University of Alabama Birmingham.
